Price Earns All-America Honors

Raleigh, N.C. - Senior Kristin Price earned All-America honors for the seventh time in her NC State career at the 2004 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship being held held at Arkansas this weekend. Price finished sixth in the 5,000 meters, running a 16:06.05. It marked the third straight season that Price earned All-America honors in the indoor 5,000 meters.
Also running strong in the 5,000 meters was Renee Gunning. She finished 10th with a time of 16:23.08. NC State also had two runners in the sprints, although neither qualified for the finals. Ebony Foster finished 10th in the 60 meter hurldes with a time of 8.23. Felicia Fant placed 14th in the 60 meters with her time of 7.40.
Price has one race left at the NCAA Championships, running in the 3,000 meters tomorrow at 7:35 p.m.
