Boliermakers Defeat Wolfpack in Men's Tennis on Sunday

West Lafayette, IN - The NC State tennis team lost to Purdue in West Lafayette, IN on Sunday to fall to 3-5 on the young season. Purdue won 7-0, as NC State forced two matches to go to three sets. Jon Davis lost by only a break in both sets to Jarred Leibner 6-4, 6-4.
The Wolfpack lost a tough match with Indiana on Saturday, falling in that contest 7-0 as well, despite winning three first sets, and forcing five of the six singles matches into three sets. Will Shaw fell to David Robinson in three after winning the first et 6-4, while freshman Andre Iriarte lost his second straight after starting 5-0 on the season. Iriarte fell 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.
The Wolfpack will next travel to Norfolk, Va. to face Old Dominion on March 6.
