Wolfpack Men Handle East Tennessee State, 5-2

RALEIGH - N.C. - NC State advanced to 3-3 (1-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) on the season with Saturday's home victory over the East Tennessee State Bucs. The Pack dropped the first two doubles matches to give the Bucs the first point of the afternoon.
After dropping the doubles competition, NC State controlled the singles matches, winning five of six bouts. Freshman Andre Iriarte (5-1) continued to impress during his freshman campaign by collecting his fifth win in a two set battle with Moises Serrano. Freshman William Noblitt (3-1), sophomore Will Shaw (3-3), junior Conor Taylor (3-3), and senior Jon Davis (3-3) each picked up their third victories of the season.
The Wolfpack will be on the road for their next five matches, beginning next Saturday, Feb. 28, at the University of Indiana. The next home match will take place March 15, against Charlotte at 2:00 pm.
