The Blue Devils extend their ACC-record conference win streak to 50 games, including the last 23 consecutive ACC games at home.

Duke has now won the last eight contests against N.C. State in Cameron Indoor Stadium and 14 of the last 17 overall.

The Blue Devils' record at home since the 1997-98 season improves to 95-8 and 156-24 since the arrival of head coach Gail Goestenkors.

N.C. State shot 53.1 percent in the first half, the best percentage allowed by the Blue Devils in the opening period this season. The Wolfpack's 36 first-half points were also the second-most allowed by Duke, the most in ACC play. Conversely, N.C. State was held to 24 percent shooting in the second half, scoring just 20 points.

Tonight marks only the fourth time this season that the Blue Devils have trailed at the half. In those games, the Blue Devils are now 3-1.

Senior Vicki Krapohl, who ranks third on Duke's career three-point list, netted a shot from beyond the arc for the first time in the past four games. She also added a season-high six assists.

Senior Iciss Tillis, with 18 points, scored in double-digits for the third straight game, while adding five rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals.

Duke point guards Lindsey Harding and Vicki Krapohl were stellar in running the offense tonight, combining for 12 assists (six each) without a single turnover.

Senior Alana Beard moved into fifth place on the ACC charts for career field goals made. Now with 884 made field goals, Beard sits behind Andrea Stinson of N.C. State (917).

The Wolfpack posted a 42-31 advantage on the boards, only the third time this season the Blue Devils, who average a +12.2 rebounding margin, have been outrebounded by their opponent. N.C. State's +11 rebounding margin is the highest for a Duke opponent this year--Auburn and Connecticut both had a +4 advantage.

In seven ACC games, sophomore Mistie Bass, who finished with 13 points, has reached double-figures five times. As a freshman, Bass scored in double-digits only twice against conference opponents.

The Blue Devils, who rank third in the nation with 6.7 blocked shots per game, continued to protect the basket, swatting eight shots, led by sophomore Monique Currie with a career-high tying three blocks.
