Pack Individuals Compete at NC Collegiate XC Championships

GREENVILLE, N.C. - NC State sent eight individuals and four unattached runners to compete in the North Carolina Collegiate XC Championships in Greenville, N.C. on Saturday. Ashley Seaton, officially running unattached, was the top Wolfpack finisher in the women's race, taking third with a time of 17:35.46 on the 5900M course. Stephen Furst, also running unattached, was NC State's top finisher in the men's race, taking sixth place with a time of 23:55.12.
Michelle Popple finished fifth, Ginger Wheeler 10th, Janelle Vadnais 11th and Leslie Jimison took 20th to round out top 20 competition. Running unattached, Joanna Rodgers took 22nd, Jennifer Boyd finished 25th and Liz Jackson took 33rd.
On the men's side, Colin Cronin finished 41st, Phillip Stafford was 51st and Lance Hall was 61st.
