Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State track & field teams wrapped up action at one of the premiere outdoor track meets of the 2002 season. With over 3,000 athletes competing at this years adidas Raleigh Relays, the meet was the biggest in school history. All results from the meet are available at www.flashresults.com. In Saturday's action on the men's side, Andy Smith placed second in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 8:58.42. In the relays, the 4x100 team was fifth (40.66), the 4x200 team placed second (1:23.18), and the 4x400 team was seventh (3:09.99).

In the triple jump it was Jason Vieira taking ninth with a top leap of 46'06.25". In the hammer, Randy Cass placed 11th (177'06"), and James Rowell was 15th (167'04").
