Track's Dugan Places 11th at NCAA Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark -- Senior Chris Dugan of the NC State track & field team finished 11th in the finals of the 3,000 meters at the 2001 NCAA Championships held this past weekend at the University of Arkansas.

Dugan, who has missed time this year due to the flu, ran the 3,000 meters in 8:14.10.

NC State will begins its outdoor portion of the season this weekend by competing at UNC Charlotte.
