The nationally-ranked Wolfpack men's and women's cross country squads will be in action on Saturday at the ACC Cross Country Championships in Clemson, S.C.
The fourth-ranked women have looked impressive this fall with a first-place finish at the Great American Cross Country Festival in Charlotte, N.C. They followed that with a third overall finish in their heat of the NCAA Pre-Nationals in Greenville, S.C. The Wolfpack is led by two-time All-American Christy Nichols, All-American Katie Sabino and sophomore Kristin Price.
The sixth-ranked men have made a steady climb through the MONDO NCAA Coaches' Poll this season. The men also captured the team championship at the Great American race and followed that by placing second in the second heat of the Pre-Nationals. The Wolfpack also defeated then-eighth ranked Northern Arizona in that race. All-American Chris Dugan spearheads the Wolfpack squad, but senior Chris Seaton has also run well this season.
The men's race will begin at 10:00 a.m., while the women's run is slated for 11 at Clemson.
