Track's Armstrong Notches NCAA Provisional Mark

Senior Sherlane Armstrong had the top mark for the Pack on the day, as she took first in the triple jump with a leap of 43'00.25". That mark gives Armstrong her first NCAA provisional mark of the season. Armstrong also took 16th in the 60 meters with a time of 7.82. Other top results saw Molly Purser take fifth in the mile (5:00.81), while freshman Kristen Pace leaped 5'8" in the high jump for a fifth place finish. In the 3,000 meters, Beth Kraft placed fourth (10:08.14), Beth Fonner was fifth (10:14.78), and Erin Musson finished sixth (10:15.00).
On the men's side, Zack Whitlow took home third in the pole vault with a mark of 16'05.50".The men also performed well in the 3,000 meters, as Ryan Woods finished sixth (8:27.75) and David Swann took seventh (8:31.62). Sophomore Isaiah Oglesby finished seventh in the weight throw with a toss of 60'04.50".
