Cross Country Moves Up In Poll

Raleigh, N.C. - (Nov. 3) The NC State men's cross country team moved up to second in this week's cross country poll. The Wolfpack had been ranked third nationally for four consecutive weeks.
With a near-perfect score of 16 at the ACC Championships at Chapel Hill, NC on Monday, NC State moved into the spot previously held by Stanford, who fell to then sixth-ranked Arizona at the PAC-10 Championships last weekend. Defending champion Arkansas remained No. 1 in this week's poll.
NC State will next travel to Greenville, S.C. for the District III Championships for the right to run at the NCAA Championships in Bloomington, Indiana on November 22.
