Lauren Fisher

Lauren Fisher, Assistant Academic Coordinator, joined ASPSA in August 2025. In her current role, she works with Football, learning and applying NCAA, ACC and NC State continuing eligibility rules for student-athletes as well as developing academic plans for individual students. She also helps with registration advising, continuing eligibility review, event planning/special projects, teaching an orientation course, and monitoring academic progress throughout each semester.
Originally from Pensacola, Florida, Lauren went on to get her Bachelor in Social Work from Elizabeth City State University and her Master’s in Social Work from North Carolina Central University. Prior to joining ASPSA, Lauren worked as a High school Instructional assistant and Autism support teacher for 2 years at Cary High School, as well as the JV Girls Head basketball coach.
Lauren currently resides in Cary, NC. Outside of work, she loves playing pick up basketball, going for runs at the park, hanging out with her brothers, and community engagement.
