2018 ACC Honor Roll
As a Sophomore (2018): Made one appearance in the season, playing 28 minutes in the team’s 6-0 win vs. Pittsburgh at home…Took one shot on goal.
As a Freshman (2017): Saw playing time in the team’s matches against Elon, Davidson, Western Carolina and Syracuse… Recorded two shots in the team’s win over Davidson, as one of them was on target.
Prior to NC State: Joins the Pack from Real Colorado in the ECNL, where she's spent the last three seasons... Her team qualified for the ECNL National Championships and in 2015 the club finished the tournament as a finalist... Prior to her time at Real Colorado she spent 10 years in the club system of FC Boulder... Smith is an accomplished forward and has also played with Fairview High School, where she was named an All-Region performer in 2015 and to the All-State team in 2016... As a senior she was an All-Region All-State selection and named MVP... Her club team additionally qualified for the the 2017 ECNL National Championship.
Personal: Her father, Conley Smith, played football with the University of Colorado and her sister, Reci Smith, currently plays soccer for Wake Forest
Santoro on Smith: "Tea is very athletic and dangerous attacking player who really developed a lot in the last year. Her ability to run behind the opposition and score goals are things that every team needs. She will learn a lot from the players around her and will add to an already potent attack that we have."
