Bio
As a Senior (Spring 2021): Played in all nine matches and started in six of them as a defender, recording a combined 550 minutes on the field…Tallied just one shot on the year which came in the season finale vs. Boston College (3-1 win) and it was on target…Played a large part in the team conceding just six goals all year.
As a Junior (2019): Saw playing time in eight matches, logging 203 minutes in her first year with the Pack…Played a season-high 60 minutes vs. Furman, and played 30+ minutes on three other occasions.
Prior to NC State (at College of Charleston): After recovering from an injury in a redshirt 2016 freshman year, Crittenberger played in 24 matches, including eight starts, in the 2017 and '18 seasons while scoring two goals from her defensive position.
Santoro on Crittenberger: "Mackenzie is the type of player whose strengths fit NC State. She's calm and skilled on the ball while being very versatile across the backline and in the midfield. Her experience and soccer IQ will give us much needed depth."
