Caleb Treadwell enters his second season with the Pack after a successful 2021-22 season.
Since joining the Pack last fall, Treadwell played an important role in one of NC State’s most successful seasons. The Wolfpack men won the 2022 ACC Championship team title, and both the men and women went on to tie program-best finishes at the NCAA Championships with the men finishing fourth and the women fifth.
Treadwell was a member of the staff that coached NC State to 67 All-American honors last season, highlighted by the Pack sweeping the national title in both the men’s and women’s 100-yard backstroke at the 2022 NCAA Championships. In addition to the Wolfpack men’s ACC Team Championship title, Treadwell had a hand in the team’s 11 event titles at the season's Conference Championship meet.
Prior to his time in Raleigh, Treadwell spent time as an assistant coach at Albion College and Wesleyan University, playing a role in both programs’ success of setting conference records and earning All-American honors.
Treadwell earned his undergraduate degree in 2018 from the State University of New York at New Paltz, where he was a student-athlete for the Hawks. Competing in the spring freestyle and butterfly events, he earned the team’s Most Valuable Swimmer and set program records in both individual and relay events.Â
In his free time, Treadwell enjoys coaching for Raleigh Swimming Association, where he has been the Lead Age Group Coach since September, 2021.
