The 2025-26 basketball season marked Hutchinson’s first year as equipment manager for the NC State men’s basketball program and his 15th overall with the NC State athletic department.
In his role, Hutchinson oversees the ordering and distribution of all adidas apparel and equipment for the team, coaches and staff. He manages the maintenance and organization of all on-court equipment, oversees team laundry operations and ensures players and coaches are fully equipped for all practices and games.
Prior to arriving at NC State, Hutchinson gained experience at the University of North Carolina, working with Olympic sports and the men’s basketball program, and at East Carolina, where he supported football and various Olympic sports programs.
A graduate of Marshall University, Hutchinson worked with the football program as a student manager before earning his degree in general education in 2001.
