2023 SEASON:
• The ACC Rookie of the Year and Offensive Rookie of the Year for 2023.
• A freshman All-American according to the FWAA (a an all-purpose player), The Athletic, PFF, 247, and On3.
• On3 named him its True Freshman of the Year for offense.
• Finalist for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award.
• Set the NC State freshman record for receiving TDs (10) and receptions (71).
• Those 71 catches was the sixth-best single season mark in school history.
• 839 receiving yards was the No. 14 mark in the single-season record book. That mark was the second-best in school history by a freshman.
• Pulled down 10 TD receptions - that mark ties for fifth on the Wolfpack single-season list.
• Ranked second in the ACC and 16th in the FBS in receiving TDs.
• Ranked 10th in the ACC in all-purpose yards (89.2/game).
• Ranked second on the 2023 squad in rushing.
• Ranked third in the ACC in receptions with 5.5 per game.
• Threw a touchdown pass in the win at Virginia Tech.
• His 65-yard rush vs. Wake Forest was the longest run for the Wolfpack since 2015.
• Averaged 7.8 yards per rush for the season.
• Had a pair of TDs in the win over Clemson. Posted the Wolfpack’s longest catch of the season (72 yards) and longest rush of the season (50 yards) in that contest.
• Hauled in six catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns in the win at Virginia and then a season-high eight catches (for 102 yards) vs. Marshall.
• Named the ACC Rookie of the Week for the UVa, Marshall, Clemson and UNC games and the on3 national True Freshman of the Week vs. UVa.
• First true freshman wide receiver to start a season opener for the Wolfpack since Bo Hines in 2014. He was also the first true freshman to lead the team in receiving since that season.
• Enrolled in January of 2023 and went through spring practice with the Wolfpack.
HIGH SCHOOL:
• Played wide receiver at Julius L. Chambers for head coach Brandon Wiggins
• Career: Caught 65 passes for 977 yards and 12 touchdowns in his final two varsity seasons.
• As a senior: Caught 29 passes for 519 yards and four touchdowns. Also carried the ball 17 times for 156 yards and two touchdowns. Finished with 1,032 all-purpose yards. Averaged 35.0 yards per kick return.
• As a junior: Caught 36 passes for 458 yards and eight touchdowns. He also returned three punts for touchdowns.
• Rankings: Ranked a four-star prospect and the No. 8 player in North Carolina and the No. 50 wide receiver in the nation by Rivals. A three-star prospect by On3, ESPN and 247Sports.
PERSONAL
• Selected to the North Carolina roster for the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas.
• Major: Enrolled in the exploratory studies program.
