2021 SEASON
• Saw more action that any Wolfpack corner in 2021, he started 11 of the 12 games and was in for 628 snaps on defense.
• Ranked fifth on the team in tackles.
• Pulled down his first career interception at Wake Forest.
• His second pick of the year ened up being the last play of the Wolfpack’s 2021 season. He picked off the final pass vs. UNC to seal the Wolfpack victory.
• Starting cornerback in 11 games - he played in all 12.
• Transferred in January of 2021 from Marshall and went through spring workouts with the Pack
BEFORE NC STATE
At Marshall
• Played in nine games in 2020, tallying 42 tackles.
• In 2019, saw action in three games, tallying four total tackles, including one for a loss.
• Did not use a year of eligibility that season because he did not play more than four games.
• Transferred to Marshall from West Virginia and gained immediate eligibility.
At WVU
• Saw action in nine games and started two in 2018 - current Wolfpack DC Tony Gibson was his coordinator.
• Tied for third on the WVU defense in pass breakups (4).
• Finished with two solo tackles and an interception against Syracuse in the Camping World Bowl/
• Missed the Baylor and Texas games due to injury.
• Started his first career game at Iowa State, he blocked a field goal and returned it 72 yards for a touchdown.
• Also matched his career high mark in total tackles (8) against the Cyclones.
• Named WVU Defensive Champion vs. Kansas after setting career highs in solo tackles (8), total tackles (8), tackles for loss (3) and sacks (1) against Kansas.
• In 2017, played in 10 games, adding depth at bandit safety.
• Finished with nine tackles, including seven unassisted tackles.
• Tallied a season-high four tackles at Kansas.
High School
• Played for Coach Donnie Mays at South Charleston High.
• Honors: Won the Carl Lee Award, signifying the top defensive back in West Virginia. Earned All-West Virginia All-State First Team honors. Named Charleston Gazette-Mail Kanawha Valley Player of the Year
• Career Stats: Had 348 career tackles, including 13 sacks and 35 tackles for loss.
• Senior Stats: Finished with 90 tackles, including 56 solo stops and nine tackles for loss. Also tallied three fumble recoveries and two interceptions, returning two of them for touchdowns. Compiled 1,169 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns (four on receptions, two each of kickoffs and fumble returns and one each on a punt return and a rushing touchdown). Caught 27 passes for 468 yards and four touchdowns and ran 45 times for 277 yards and a touchdown. Averaged 45.5 yards on kickoff returns and 21.3 on punt returns.
