Zach Parker joined the NC State athletics department as an assistant athletic trainer for football in the Spring of 2015. Parker came to NC State after serving as an athletic trainer with the Detroit Lions during the 2014 season.
Prior to working in the NFL, Parker spent two years at The Citadel working with the football team and obtaining his Masters Degree in Health, Exercise and Sports Science. While as an undergrad at Appalachian State, he worked with the football, wrestling, men's soccer and track and field programs.
Parker is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
