Joe Calcagni joined the Wolfpack staff in the spring of 2017. A former quarterback at Tulsa, he is working with the Wolfpack QBs and offensive coordinator Eliah Drinkwitz.
The Springdale, Arkansas, native spent the 2016 season working with the quarterbacks at his former high school (Springdale) and spent the spring of 2016 serving an internship with the Tulsa football staff.
Calcagni earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise and sport science (with a K-12 teaching certification) from Tulsa in December of 2014, prior to his senior season, and a master’s in math and science education in May of 2016.
During his career at Tulsa, the Golden Hurricanes appeared in the 2011 Armed Forces Bowl, the 2012 Liberty Bowl and the 2015 Independence Bowl.
