2018 ACC Honor Roll
As a Senior (Spring 2021): Made seven appearances on the year and earned her first career start on April 17 vs. Boston College…Played a career-high 47 minutes vs. Boston College…Tallied a shot vs. Georgia…Logged a combined 143 minutes on the year.
As A Junior (2019): Played in three matches for a total of 73 minutes…Had one shot vs. Duquesne in the 31 minutes she played…Played a season-long 33 minutes at East Carolina.
As a Sophomore (2018): Did not compete.
As a Freshman (2017): Played in 11 matches as a rookie, logging 417 minutes… Tallied three assists on the season, one apiece against Oregon, Coastal Carolina and Davidson… Recorded one shot on the year, an on target attempt against Coastal Carolina.
Prior to NC State: Powell joins the program from the Carolina Rapids where she recently helped lead her club to the USYS 19/20U Red Division title with a game-winning goal. Powell, a 5'6" central midfielder has spent time with the ODP national camp from 2013-14 and also played at Orlando City. She was also named to the 2015 USYS 1999 All-Star Team.
Santoro on Powell: "Naomi is a pure soccer player with great understanding of the game, is technically clean and has great vision. Coming from a soccer family, you can tell she has instincts that aren't in most American players and the spring will give her a head start for fall preparation."
