Wolfpack and Tigers to Face Off in ACC/SEC Challenge

RALEIGH, N.C. - After an undefeated weekend, the NC State volleyball team is set to face LSU Tuesday, Sept. 8 for the 2026 Showdown at the Net ACC/SEC Challenge. The Pack will face the Tigers in Baton Rouge at 8pm and the game will be streamed on SECN+. Â

- Zuzia Maciejewicz posted a career-high 35 digs, which ranks first in the nation for the most in a single match this season.
- Britni Silver recorded a career-high 25 kills, tying for the sixth-most in a single match in program history.
- Eva Long notched a career-high 53 assists—the most by a Pack setter since 2021—and registered her third double-double in five matches.
- Talia Francom set a career high with 12.0 blocks.
- Team Performance: The Pack tallied 84 digs (their most in a match since November 2025 against Syracuse) and 65 kills (their highest total since facing Old Dominion last season).
- Tuesday marks the return of a Vondran to Baton Rouge. Clara Vondran's older sister, Josie, played setter for the Tigers in 2023, starting 28 matches and appearing in all 30 during her lone season with LSU. Over her collegiate career, the elder Vondran sister made five NCAA tournament appearances.
