RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State volleyball team put on a clinical performance Friday evening, pushing past George Washington in straight sets in its first match of the Summit Hospitality Tournament.
Highlighting the evening was a flawless third set in which the Pack hit .560 to put the finishing touches on their third victory of the young season. The win moves NC State to 3-1 overall.
Set-By-Set Summary
One: NC State took command mid-set behind strong net play and service pressure, hitting .242 while holding GW to a -.069 hitting percentage. Britni Silver capped off the set with multiple kills and service aces to seal the 25–12 win.
