RALEIGH, NC - NC State men's soccer (3-2-3, 1-1-1 ACC) will take on ACC and in-state opponent Wake Forest (5-2-1, 2-1-0 ACC) Friday night, looking to get its first win over the Demon Deacons since 2005. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Dail Soccer Field

- Sophomore Forward, Russell Berko has already made a big impact on the Wolfpack in his first season.
- From Aylesbury, England, he currently leads the team in points (8), goals (4), and shots on goal (7). He is tied with Riley Monoley for the most shots with 13.
- Berko has earned a starting nod in every game this season and has played 424 minutes.
The Wolfpack Versus In-State Opponents…
- During the 2026 regular season, NC State will face six in-state opponents (Queens, Duke, UNCW, Wake Forest, UNC Greensboro and UNC).
- The Pack is 3-0-0 against in-state opponents, having beaten Queens (2-1), Duke (3-1) and No. 23 UNCW (1-0).
- NC State will face Wake Forest on Sept. 25, UNC Greensboro on Oct. 7 and UNC on Oct. 30.
- UNC Greensboro and UNC are the only road contests.
