Wolfpack Defense Locks Down Robert Morris in Clean Sweep

ORLANDO, Fla. – The NC State volleyball team swept Robert Morris, 3-0, Saturday afternoon in its second match of the Black & Gold Classic hosted by UCF.
The Pack hit .319 and out-blocked the Colonials 8-2 in the contest. In the third set alone, the Wolfpack hit a match high .405.
Set-By-Set Summary
One: The Pack established control from the start and hit .214 in the opening frame while holding Robert Morris to a negative hitting efficiency (-0.118). The Pack took the set, 25-17.
Two: The Colonials opened the set with a 2-0 lead, but the Pack quickly regained control. A kill from middle blocker Sophie Groom gave NC State the set, 25-20.
