#21 Men’s Tennis Sweeps Last Regular Season Home Match

RALEIGH – 21st-ranked NC State men's tennis secured a 4-0 win in its last regular-season home match over Virginia Tech on Sunday afternoon.
In its final regular-season home match, No. 21 NC State men's tennis swept Virginia Tech 4-0 to pick up its 15th overall win of the season, and seventh in conference play. The red-and-white will now be on the road for the rest of the season, but featuring several more matches in the state with remaining competition against Duke, UNC, and Wake Forest, as well as the ACC Tournament, which is hosted in Cary.
Coming off the loss against top-ranked Virginia the Friday before, NC State took care of business with Virginia Tech, stealing the doubles point by wins on courts two and three white also leading on court one. The Pack then went on to quickly secure three singles points on courts three, five, and four.
Singles wins, courtesy of Jules Leroux, Charlie Camus, and Ainius Sabaliauskas, were all claimed in just two straight sets.
Currently, NC State holds down the second spot, along with Virginia, in the ACC men's tennis standings. At the top is Wake Forest, which does not carry a conference loss yet this season.
