#20 Gymnastics Set for 2026 ACC Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. – No. 20 NC State gymnastics is set to compete at the 2026 ACC Gymnastics Championship on Saturday, March 21 at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C.
The Pack earned a four seed in the meet, placing it in Session II along with top-seeded Stanford, second-seeded California and third-seeded Clemson in a quad-meet format that begins at 7 p.m. and will air on ACC Network. Fifth-seeded UNC and sixth-seeded Pitt will compete in a dual-formatted Session I at 2:30 p.m.
ACC Championship History
NC State has won two of the three ACC-sponsored gymnastics championships in league history. The Wolfpack claimed conference titles in 1984, the first ACC gymnastics championship, and again in 2024, the first year the league reinstated gymnastics as a conference-sponsored sport.
In the most recent ACC Championship in 2025, NC State placed fourth after competing in Session II of the quad-meet format alongside Stanford, California and North Carolina. The Wolfpack posted a 196.500 team score in the conference finale.
Last Time Out
NC State closed out the regular season with a win on Senior Night, using a program-record score on bars to defeat West Virginia, 196.650-195.725, inside Reynolds Coliseum on Friday, March 13. The Pack's 49.500 on bars marked a new program high, with Elle Hadrick leading the rotation with an event-winning 9.975, a new career high that matched the highest individual bars score in program history.
Hadrick also won the event title on floor, setting a new career-best mark with a 9.925 to bring her career total to nine scores of 9.900 or higher across all events. Maddie Hall claimed the vault title for her second event win of the season, scoring a 9.850. Both of NC State's event winners on the night won their respective titles outright.

With its regular season-ending win over West Virginia on March 13, NC State closed the 2026 regular season with a 15-5 overall record, including a 4-2 mark in ACC action. The Wolfpack also posted a strong 6-1 home record inside Reynolds Coliseum.
NC State finished the regular season with 84 total podium finishes, led by Syniya Thomas' team-best 22. As a team, the Wolfpack set or matched 24 career-best scores during the 2026 regular season and turned in 27 total routines that scored a 9.900 or higher. The Wolfpack also opened the 2026 campaign with a 196.075 at Auburn on Jan. 9, marking the highest season-opening score in program history.

- California: Adasyn Tackett delivered a career performance to claim her first collegiate event win on beam, while Elle Hadrick earned a share of the bars title as NC State competed at California on Jan. 24 at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley. The Wolfpack fell 196.050-195.575, but totaled six podium finishes and 11 scores of 9.800 or higher in the strong road showing.
- Clemson: Syniya Thomas sealed NC State's 196.125-195.925 home-opening victory over Clemson with a clutch 9.900 on floor, lifting the Wolfpack past the Tigers inside Reynolds Coliseum on Jan. 17. The win marked the Pack's first victory of the 2026 season and set the tone for its strong start at home.
- UNC: NC State used a season-best 49.275 on beam to upset North Carolina, 196.625-196.325, on Feb. 13 inside Carmichael Arena. The win marked the Wolfpack's second straight victory over the Tar Heels and its second ranked upset in a five-day span.
- Pitt: NC State earned its first road win of the 2026 season on Feb. 1, defeating Pitt, 195.875-195.525, at Fitzgerald Field House. The Pack's second overall victory of the year was highlighted by event titles from Syniya Thomas on vault and Elle Hadrick on floor.
