#8 Wolfpack Dominates CSU Bakersfield in California

GILROY, Calif. – Eighth-ranked NC State wrestling added another win to go 2-0 in their trip to the West Coast. The Wolfpack dominated CSU Bakersfield by a 43-3 score in a neutral-site on Sunday afternoon.
NC State wrestling secured its 11th win of the season after defeating CSU Bakersfield 43-3 in a neutral-site dual on Sunday afternoon. The Pack won nine of the 10 bouts, with eight being delivered with bonus points. Collectively, the squad tallied two falls, four by technical fall, and two major decisions.
Freshman Jason Kwaak stepped into the lineup for the second time this season, this time competing at 157 lbs, and found a win over his opponent.
Closing out the dual, Isaac Trumble tallied his fourth fall from this season alone, improving to seven of his nine bouts being bonus point wins.
