2024-25
• Redshirted the season
• Wrestled unattached at two tournaments - Journeymen's Collegiate Classic and F&M Lehman Open
• Named to the 2024-25 ACC Academic Honor Roll
2023-24
• Competed mainly in the 141 pound weight class, bumped up to 149 for the Lock Haven dual-match.
• Named an ACC Champion for the first time by taking out Virginia Tech's Tom Crook with a major decision and defeating Pitt's Cole Matthews who was the number one seed.Â
• Became an All-American by finishing 7th place at the 2024 NCAA Championships in Kansas City, Mo. Jack was placed as the No. 4 seed of the 141 pound weight class for the tournament, he went 4-2 and only suffered losses to top-10 seeds.Â
• Accumulated six ranked wins during the regular season, four of which were inside the top-10.Â
• Placed 2nd at the 2023 Cliff Keen Invitational by accumulating ranked wins over No. 9 Cael Happel of Northern Iowa, No. 33 McKenzie Bell of Rider, and No. 3 Lachlan McNeil of North Carolina. Was defeated 2-5 by No. 5 Jesse Mendez of Ohio State in the finals.
2022-23
• Placed second at the 2022 U20 World Team Trials at 65 kg. Entered as the fifth seed and reached the final of the challenge
tournament. He started with a 10-0 tech then 12-4 win, then in the semifinals, he took out top seed Larkin 7-1. He fell in the final to Young of Oklahoma State 11-5.
• Placed fifth at the 2022 U.S. Open at 65 kg in U20 Freestyle Went 8-2 overall, and won 13-2 in the fifth place bout.
• Finished second at ACC’s after being defeated 2-1 by Pitt’s Cole Matthews.
• Went 21-5 on the season which included 10 ranked wins.Â
2021-22
• First-time NCAA Qualifier. Was the #18 seed at 141 pounds. Went 2-2, both losses to higher seeds.
• Earned All-ACC honors by reaching the final as the third seed. Opened with a tech fall over Duke’s Rowland (20-5) then avenged a dual loss to #8 Clark of UNC in the semifinal, with a takedown in the last seconds (4-3). Dropped the final to #5 Matthews of Pitt, 3-2.
• Went 18-9 on the season, 7-5 in duals. Was 3-2 vs. ACC foes and a perfect 6-0 in bonus point matches.
• Won The Citadel Open, 4-0 with three bonus point wins. Placed second in the Wolfpack Wrestling Club Open.
2020-21
• Split time as the Pack’s starter at 133 pounds in his first season.
• Went 7-3 overall, 1-2 in ACC duals.
• Scored a 19-3 tech fall over Duke in the conference dual. Both ACC dual losses were to ranked foes: #13 Hayes of Virginia (11-6) and #11 Hernandez of North Carolina (3-2).
Prep
• Named a 2020 Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award winner.
• Named a 2020 Wrestling USA Scholastic All-American.
• Four-time Connecticut state champion. Two-time Connecticut Wrestler of the Year.
• Three-time New England champion, runner-up as a freshman.
• State champion as a junior going a perfect 47-0, and named Connecticut Wrestler of the Year. Also won his third Class LL title and third State Open championship.
• Became school’s first national champion after taking first place at the 2019 NHSCA national championships at 126 pounds. Was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament.
• 2019 NHSCA champion and four-time All-American.
• Super 32 runner-up as a junior in 2018. 2018 Journeymen Classic champion.
• Wrestled at the 2019 Who’s #1, the first athlete from Connecticut to take part.
