Wolfpack Back at Home to Face No. 9/10 Louisville

RALEIGH – The NC State women's basketball team is back at Reynolds Coliseum to host No. 9/10 Louisville on Sunday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
ABOUT NC STATE
- NC State has started the ACC season 6-1 and is No. 3 in the league's current standings behind Duke and Louisville who are 7-0
- The Wolfpack overcame a 15-point deficit at Wake Forest and used a 32-point third quarter to surge to a 95-77 win on the road
- NC State faces a tough task with No. 9/10 Louisville coming to town, its first ranked opponent since playing at No. 9/9 Oklahoma on Dec. 3. NC State has a 9-8 advantage going into the game and has won the last six matchups
- NC State, who is currently unranked, is looking for its first win over a ranked opponent while being unranked since 2023 when the Pack beat No. 2/2 UConn
- The Pack is No. 25 in the NET with two Quad 1 wins and three quad 2 wins

SCOUTING LOUISVILLE
- Louisville was projected to finish fourth in the ACC Preseason Poll with two first-place votes. The Cardinals finished 22-11 and 13-5 in ACC play last season with a second-round appearance in the NCAA Tournament as a No. 7 seed
- Tajianna Roberts and Laura Ziegler were named to the Preseason All-ACC Team, one of three schools with two players selected
- The Cardinals are red hot, starting the season 17-3 and atop of the league standings at 7-0 and on a 10-game winning streak
- Louisville is one of the most balanced teams in the country with eight players averaging 6.3 points per game or more
- Roberts leads the Cardinals with 12.7 points per game
- Ziegler has a team's most 7.5 rebounds per game and is also averaging 10.7 points per game
- Reyna Scott leads Louisville with 55 assists, Skylar Jones has a team's most 39 steals and Anaya Hardy has the most blocks with eight
