RALEIGH – Fifth-ranked NC State men's soccer prepares to close out its opening home stretch by hosting William & Mary Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at the Dail Soccer Stadium.

Series History
• Tuesday's meeting marks the 14th contest between the NC State Wolfpack and William & Mary Tribe.
• The Wolfpack last met with the Tribe last season in Williamsburg, which resulted in a 4-2 victory.
• The Pack has not shutout William & Mary since its 1-0 win in 2014. Three of the last eight contests were taken to overtime.

• The Wolfpack started the season ranked at No. 14 in the preseason United Soccer Coaches poll, where it finished last season. After just week one of the regular season, the squad landed at eighth in the country, the last time the program was ranked that high was in September of 2018.
• Through two weeks of competition, the Pack was boosted to the No. 5 spot, marking the program's highest-ever ranking in the United Soccer Coaches poll (which began in 1996).
• NC State was picked to finish eighth in a competitive Atlantic Coast Conference that features four of the nation's preseason top 10 teams according to the United Soccer Coaches Poll.
• A win over Queens to open the season on Thursday moved the team's season-opening record under Marc Hubbard to 2-0.
• A crowd of 5,083 fans at the game vs. North Carolina on Friday, Sept. 5 set a new Dail Soccer Stadium attendance record.
