
#5 Men’s Soccer Faces Florida Atlantic Saturday Night

RALEIGH – Fifth-ranked NC State men's soccer nears the end of its home stretch by hosting Florida Atlantic in non-conference action at Dail Soccer Stadium in Raleigh on Saturday at 6 p.m.
The match will be streamed live here on ACC Network Extra with commentary by Evan Budrovich and Brad Sweeney, while live stats will be available on StatBroadcast here.

Series History
• Saturday's meeting marks just the fourth contest between the NC State Wolfpack and Florida Atlantic Owls.
• The Wolfpack last met with the Owls in 2017 in Raleigh, which resulted in a 3-2 victory.
• The two previous contests between the two were in 2008 and 2010, also both in Raleigh.

• The Wolfpack started the season ranked at No. 14 in the preseason United Soccer Coaches poll, where it finished last season. After just week one of the regular season, the squad landed at eighth in the country, the last time the program was ranked that high was in September of 2018.
• Through two weeks of competition, the Pack was boosted to the No. 5 spot, marking the program's highest-ever ranking in the United Soccer Coaches poll (which began in 1996).
• NC State was picked to finish eighth in a competitive Atlantic Coast Conference that features four of the nation's preseason top 10 teams according to the United Soccer Coaches Poll.
• A win over Queens to open the season on Thursday moved the team's season-opening record under Marc Hubbard to 2-0.
