Wolfpack to Host South Carolina in Inaugural 2025 Showdown at the Net

CHARLOTTE – The NC State volleyball program will participate in the inaugural 2025 Showdown at the Net in September, as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference and ESPN Thursday morning.
The tournament features 16 ACC volleyball programs and all 16 SEC programs. The Pitt-Kentucky and Louisville-Texas matchups will be the main showdown of the tournament and will be played at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The remaining 14 games will be played at either an ACC or SEC school.
Teams were selected and seeded based on the RPI that was released on December 1, 2024, at the time of the 2024 NCAA Volleyball Championship selections.
The Wolfpack will host South Carolina on Wednesday, Sept. 10 in Reynolds Coliseum on ACC Network. Time delegations will be released at a later date.
The Pack will face the Gamecocks for the first time since 2015. NC State holds a 1-0 advantage over South Carolina, winning the initial meeting in straight sets in Columbia, S.C.
