
No. 12 Seed Wolfpack Set to Host First & Second Rounds of NCAA Tournament

RALEIGH, NC - For the ninth consecutive season, the No. 12 seed NC State women's tennis team will host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament. The Wolfpack welcomes Charleston Southern, Furman, and UCF to Raleigh for an exciting weekend of postseason play to the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.
The Pack enters the tournament with a perfect 11-0 home record this season and will look to extend that streak as they take on Charleston Southern (17-4) in first-round action on Friday, May 2 at 4:00 p.m.
Live updates will be available via StatBroadcast, and full match coverage can be followed throughout the weekend on Track Tennis. Admission is free, and all spectators should plan to park in the West Parking Deck upon arrival.

The No. 12 seed NC State heads into the weekend ranked third in the ACC, features a strong presence in the national rankings with the No. 11 ranking in ITA Team rankings. Six players are featured in the ITA Singles rankings including:

Scouting the Buccaneers
Charleston Southern arrives in Raleigh with an impressive 17-4 overall record and a flawless 5-0 mark in conference play. Riding a 13-match winning streak, the Buccaneers have dominated their league and are poised to challenge on a national stage. This will mark the fourth all-time meeting between NC State and Charleston Southern, with the Wolfpack holding a 3-0 edge in the series. Their most recent clash came in 2014, when NC State earned a 6-1 victory.
