
Women’s Golf Selected as No. 8 Seed at NCAA Charlottesville Regional

RALEIGH - The NC State women's golf team was selected as a No. 8 seed at the NCAA Charlottesville Regional, as announced by the NCAA and GOLF Channel on Wednesday. This marks NC State's 20th NCAA Regional appearance as a team in school history. The Pack will play at Birdwood Golf Course in Charlottesville, Virginia from Monday, May 5 to Wednesday, May 7.
The top five teams and top individual from the non-advancing teams from each of the six regional sites will advance to the NCAA Championship set from May 16-21 at the Omni La Costa Golf Course in Carlsbad, California. NC State will look to make its fifth appearance as a team.
The Pack played at Birdwood Golf Course in September at the Cavalier Regional Preview, in which NC State finished fifth.

NC State is one of 12 schools in the ACC to make a regional. This marks the Pack's first regional appearance as a team since 2023, in which NC State advanced to the NCAA Championship for the fourth time in program history.
