
No. 12 NC State Hosts Three In Final Stretch of The Regular Season

RALEIGH, NC - The No. 12 NC State women's tennis team is set to conclude its regular season with an exciting weekend full of home matchups. The Wolfpack will face No. 18 California at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 11, followed by a doubleheader on Sunday, April 13, against No. 29 Stanford at Noon and East Carolina at 3:30 PM. All matches will take place at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.

After wrapping up their final road matchups of the regular season, the Wolfpack is looking to maintain their perfect home record, having secured three wins at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center this season. Heading into the weekend the Wolfpack are currently 13-5 with a 8-2 record in conference play.
In the latest ITA rankings, NC State holds steady at No. 12 in the team standings. The Pack's lineup includes the No. 3 ranked doubles duo of Maddy Zampardo and Gabriella Broadfoot, as well as singles players No. 25 Michaela Laki, No. 77 Anna Zyryanova, No. 89 Maddy Zampardo, No. 96 Gabia Paskauskas, and No. 109 Gabriella Broadfoot.
Scouting the Golden Bears:
California enters the weekend with an 11-6 overall record and an 8-2 mark in conference play, ranking No. 18 in the ITA team standings. The Golden Bears are coming off a loss to North Carolina. Friday's match will be the fourth meeting between NC State and California, with the Wolfpack leading the series 2-1. Key players for Cal include singles players No. 38 Jessica Alsola, No. 39 Mao Mushika, No. 43 Lan Mi, No. 71 Katja Wiersholm, and No. 117 Berta Passola Folch, along with the No. 10 doubles team of Mao Mushika and Jessica Alsola.

Stanford is ranked No. 29 in the ITA team standings, entering the weekend with a 13-6 record and a 6-4 mark in conference play. This will be the third meeting between NC State and Stanford, with the series tied 1-1. Key singles players for the Cardinals include No. 8 Valerie Glozman, No. 10 Connie Ma, and No. 78 Caroline Driscoll, while in doubles, Connie Ma and Valerie Glozman are ranked No. 27, and Valencia Xu and Alexis Blohina are ranked No. 55.
Scouting the Pirates:
East Carolina brings a 6-11 record into the weekend and will look to challenge NC State for the 16th time. The Wolfpack has dominated the series, holding a 15-0 record. The Pirates are coming off a 7-0 victory over Greensboro.
