Five Athletes Receive All-ACC Honors on the Final Day of the ACC Indoor Championships

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The ACC Indoor Track and Field Championship concluded after three days of competition, with Hannah Gapes, Grace Hartman and Patrick Tuohy all earning podium finishes.
Distance
Day three was highlighted by Patrick Tuohy defending his spot at the top of the program's all-time top-10 list in the 800 meters, securing second place with a personal-best time of 1:46.98. He earned First-Team All-ACC honors.
Hannah Gapes secured a podium finish in the 3,000 meters with a personal-best time of 8:48.96, claiming second place and earning First-Team All-ACC honors. She now holds the No. 3 spot on the program's all-time list. Angelina Napoleon also competed in the event, earning Second-Team All-ACC honors with a fifth-place finish in 9:00.11—both personal-best times.
Grace Hartman represented NC State in the mile, where an exhilarating race led her to a third-place finish in 4:26.82, earning First-Team All-ACC honors.
Sprints
Alexander Nunley finished sixth in the 60-meter hurdles, earning Second-Team All-ACC honors. He now sits fourth on the program's all-time top-10 list with a time of 7.89.
The NC State women's team finished 11th with 34 points, while the men placed 10th with 35.5.
Up Next
The NCAA will announce the indoor championship qualifiers on Tuesday, March 4, on its website. NC State will await its qualifiers. The championship is set for Friday, March 14, to Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va.
