#5 Pack Record Fourth Straight Sweep

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Fifth-ranked NC State men's tennis (15-4, 6-0) tallied its 15th victory of the season Friday evening when it swept Louisville (6-13, 0-7) on the road 4-0.
The Pack hit the road for another conference travel stretch on Friday, starting off at Louisville. A 4-0 victory over the Cardinals, marks the fourth consecutive clean sweep and seventh overall this season.
The two ranked doubles pairs secured the doubles point to give the advantage into singles play. The younger players on the team, Jules Leroux and William Manning, on courts five and six paved the way toward the win, while it was senior captain Braden Shick on court one who clinched the match.
Both Leroux and Manning each secured a 6-0 set not allowing their opponent to claim a single game on them. Luca Staeheli and Fons Van Sambeek were also carrying a lead over their opponents when play was halted.
Up Next
The Pack travels over to South Bend, Indiana to face Notre Dame at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
