RALEIGH, NC – The No. 10 NC State women's tennis team will face off against in-state rivals this week, starting with No. 7 Duke on Friday, March 21 at 6:00 PM, followed by No. 4 North Carolina on Sunday, March 23 at 3:00 PM.

The Wolfpack are coming off a strong 4-2 victory over the No. 2-ranked Virginia, improving their overall record to 9-3 and maintaining a perfect 4-0 mark in conference play. The win propelled NC State to No. 5 in the latest ITA rankings, marking the third consecutive season in which the team has appeared in the top 5.
In doubles, Gabriella Broadfoot and Maddy Zampardo are ranked No. 2 in the ITA rankings, while freshman Michaela Laki has climbed to No. 27 in singles. Following her, sophomore Maddy Zampardo sits at No. 99, and freshman Mia Slama makes her debut in the rankings at No. 121.
Scouting the Blue Devils:
Duke enters the weekend with a 12-2 overall record and a perfect 4-0 mark in conference play. Friday's matchup will be the 28th meeting between the two programs, with Duke leading the series 25-2. The Blue Devils are currently ranked No. 7 in the ITA team rankings. Their roster includes the No. 13 doubles pair of Elizabeth Coleman & Irina Balus, as well as No. 12 Irina Balus, No. 25 Emma Jackson, No. 41 Eleana Yu, No. 66 Shavit Kimchi, and No. 125 Elizabeth Coleman in singles.

North Carolina enters the weekend with a 13-3 overall record and a 4-0 mark in conference play. Sunday's match will be the 30th meeting between the two teams, with the Tar Heels leading the series 25-4. In doubles, UNC boasts the No. 9 pair of Susanna Maltby & Carson Tanguiling, and the No. 20 duo of Alanis Hamilton & Tatum Evans. In singles, they feature No. 9 Reese Brantmeier, No. 15 Theadora Rabman, No. 43 Carson Tanguiling, and No. 48 Tatum Evans.
