No. 21 NC State Achieves First Sellout in Program History

RALEIGH, N.C. — No. 21 NC State recorded the first sellout in program history Sunday night as it faced No. 8 California at Reynolds Coliseum. The Wolfpack posted its highest score of the season, a 196.550, but fell to Cal's 197.175.
A packed crowd of passionate Wolfpack fans created an electric atmosphere for the top-25 matchup.
"We could feel them—their energy, their vibes, everything," head coach Kim Landrus said. "They allowed us to continue to rise up in every performance."
NC State posted season-high scores of 49.000 or better in all four events. Syniya Thomas achieved a season-best 9.850 on vault, while Caroline Volk and Ava Myers set career highs on bars with scores of 9.825 and 9.850, respectively. Ashley Knight delivered a standout performance, earning a career-high 9.925 on floor and adding a 9.900 on vault.
Event Breakdown
Vault (49.050)
Knight anchored the lineup with a meet-high 9.900. Thomas, competing in the No. 5 spot, earned a career-high 9.850, while Chloe Negrete rounded out the top three with a 9.775.
Bars (49.175)
Kailee Adomaites led off with a 9.825, while Volk and Myers each set career highs with a 9.825 and 9.850, respectively. Katie Harper anchored with a 9.850.
Beam (49.075)
NC State delivered a strong performance on beam, highlighted by Meg Adler's season-best 9.800. Harper and Negrete closed out the event with scores of 9.825 and 9.900, respectively.
Floor (49.250)
Knight capped off the evening with a career-best 9.925. Thomas followed with a 9.875, and Elle Hadrick matched her career high of 9.850.
