Negrete Tabs Third ACC Weekly Honor of the Season

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Chloe Negrete has been named ACC Specialist of the Week for the third time this season, as announced by the league today.
Negrete played a pivotal role in NC State's victory over Clemson on Saturday. She posted a 9.775 on vault, helping the team take an early lead. On beam, she secured a 9.850 and a third-place finish before delivering a season-high 9.925 on floor to tie for first. Her standout floor routine was the anchor that sealed the Wolfpack's win.
With her performances, Negrete now ties teammate Ashley Knight for the most podium finishes this season, totaling 14 podium appearances, including five first-place finishes.
