RALEIGH, N.C. – The No. 10/11 NC State women's basketball team will host Miami on Thursday, Feb. 13 at Reynolds Coliseum for the Black History Month game. The game will tipoff at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on ACC Network.
ABOUT NC STATE
- NC State entered back into the AP Top 10 for the first time since this year's preseason poll (NC State was ranked No. 9). This marks the 217th week in school history the Pack has been in the AP Top 10
- Three of the Wolfpack's four losses have come to AP Top 15 teams: South Carolina (4), LSU (5) and TCU (11)
- NC State is coming off back-to-back top 25 wins after defeating No. 10/10 Duke (89-83) in the 20th annual Play4Kay Game and No. 22/22 Florida State on the road (97-74)
- In the Pack's win over Florida State, the Pack handed the Seminoles its first home loss of the season after FSU started 12-0 at the Tucker Center
- The Pack is on an eight-game winning streak and has won 15 of the last 16 games with three ranked victories
- NC State is 13-0 at home and on an 18-game home winning streak (stretching back from last season), as well as has won four straight road contests
- NC State's 18-game home winning streak is the longest active streak in the ACC and sixth longest home streak in the country
- The Pack is second in the ACC standings with a 11-1 conference mark
- The Pack is at its best NET of the season at No. 17 and has an average opponent NET opponent ranking at No. 74, which is the fourth best in the country (trailing just South Carolina- 65, Duke- 71 and Iowa- 71), as well as the 17th toughest strength of schedule in the country (not accounting for all of NC State's tough February schedule)
- NC State is one of 15 schools in the country to have picked up at least four Quad 1 NET wins. The Pack is one of nine schools to have at least 12 top 100 wins
- Aziaha James is coming off an incredible week of averaging 29.0 points on 64.9 percent shooting, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game vs. No. 10/10 Duke and No. 22/22 Florida State. She was named Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy National Player of the Week, USBWA Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Week and ACC Player of the week, the first league honors for a member of the Pack this season
- The Pack has four players who average double digits in scoring
- James leads NC State with 18.0 points per game, which is No. 5 in the ACC, and 47 made 3-pointers. The senior was one of 20 named to the Wooden Late Midseason Watch List and one of 50 on the USBWA Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Year Midseason Watch List
- Madison Hayes paces the Pack with 6.9 rebounds per game and has a team's most 47 offensive rebounds
- Saniya Rivers leads the Pack in steals per game (1.7) and blocks per game (1.1). She is also on the USBWA Midseason Player of the Year Watch List
- Zoe Brooks has a team-leading 4.2 assists per game
- Mallory Collier has a team's best .592 field goal percentage (42-71)
- Head coach Wes Moore is coming off his 850th career win. He has coached over 1,100 games in his 36-year coaching career
- The Pack leads the ACC and the country in least fouls per game (12.1). NC State is second in the ACC in turnovers per game (12.1) and defensive rebounds per game (29.0), which are 12th and 16th in the country, respectively. The Pack is also third in the ACC in rebounds per game (41.1), which is 21st in the NCAA, and field goal percentage (45.6) and field goal percentage defense (38.4)
SCOUTING MIAMI
- Miami was picked to finish eighth in the ACC Preseason Poll after finishing 19-12, 8-10 in the ACC, last season. The Hurricanes were the last team left out in the NCAA Tournament last season
- Haley Cavinder leads the Hurricanes with 18.4 points per game and 104 total assists
- Cameron Williams paces Miami with 7.3 rebounds per game
- Natalija Marshall has a team's most 10 blocks, while Jasmyne Roberts logs a team-high 34 steals
SERIES HISTORY (NC STATE LEADS 16-12)
- The Pack and Hurricanes will face off for the 29th time of the all-time series
- The first meeting was in 1981, and the teams have played one another at least once a year as ACC opponents since 2005

LAST TIME OUT
- The Pack logged its third ranked win with a 97-74 victory over No. 22/22 Florida State

- NC State shot 50 percent from the field for the fourth straight game, shooting 37-of-74 from the field, while winning the battle in points off turnovers (13-7), points in the paint (52-34) and second chance points (12-10)
- The Pack also outrebounded the Seminoles 44-38 and had 13 offensive rebounds
- James earned her 11th 20-point game of the season off 22 points, five rebounds, two assists and three steals
- Brooks matched a career-high 21 points with seven rebounds, seven assists and one block
- Tilda Trygger recorded her second double-double behind 16 points, a career-high 14 rebounds and a career-high three blocks
- Rivers registered 12 points, three assists and two blocks
- Hayes finished with 14 points, nine rebounds and two assists
UPCOMING
The Pack will play at North Carolina on Sunday, Feb. 16 for a 2 p.m. tipoff. That game will be broadcast on ESPN.
