Wolfpack linebacker Caden Fordham has been named one of 15 semifinalists for college football's 2025 Comeback Player of the Year Award, College Sports Communicators in association with The Associated Press (AP) and Fiesta Sports Foundation announced today. Since 2018, the award has recognized college football student-athletes for overcoming injury, illness, or other circumstances. Â
Fordham suffered a season-ending ACL injury on Oct. 9, 2024 and missed the remainder of that season. He came back to lead all players from the Power 4 conferences in tackles this season and to earn first-team All-ACC honors.Â
A graduate student from Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., Fordham started every game for the bowl-bound Wolfpack, playing both linebacker spots.
