NC State Travels to No. 9 Oklahoma for the ACC/SEC Challenge

NORMAN, Okla. – The NC State women's basketball team is set to face No. 9 Oklahoma, the first time in the all-time series, for the ACC/SEC Challenge. Wednesday's game is set for a 7:15 p.m. Eastern tipoff at the Lloyd Noble Center. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2. The Pack is 2-0 in the ACC/SEC Challenge and is set for its first challenge game on the road and first true away game of the season.

NC State debuted at No. 39 in the NET with an average opponent NET ranking stacking at the second highest among Power 4 schools (92)
The Pack is coming off a 2-0 week at the Cancun Challenge with wins over Green Bay (79-67) and Southern Miss (110-56). The 110 points against the Golden Eagles marked a Cancun Challenge tournament record for most points in a game (surpassed UConn's previous record of 109 set in 2008) and marked the most points scored in a game in the Wes Moore era
Khamil Pierre was named the Cancun Challenge Yucatan MVP and All-Tournament Team after averaging 15.0 points, 18.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game with 37 total rebounds among the two games
Zoe Brooks was also named on the All-Tournament Team after averaging 17.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game
The Pack is going into its fourth ranked matchup of the non-conference slate, set to face No. 9/8 Oklahoma in Norman for the ACC/SEC Challenge
Brooks leads the Pack with 14.1 points per game, 5.3 assists per game and 1.5 steals per game
Pierre paces the team in rebounds with 12.8 per game, with her rebounding average and double-doubles (5) leading the ACC
Tilda Trygger paces the Pack with 1.1 blocks per game and has a team's best field goal percentage at .544 (31-of-57)
Three different Pack players rank in the top 15 in rebounds per game in the ACC with Pierre (1st - 12.8), Trygger (10th - 8.0) and Brooks (14th - 6.9)

The Sooners are coming off a 109-91 win over Florida State in the Coconut Hoops Classic
Oklahoma was picked to finish fourth in the SEC Preseason Coaches Poll and fifth in the Media Poll. The Sooners went 27-8 and 11-5 in the SEC, making the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16
Reagan Beers was picked on the Preseason All-SEC First Team by the media and coaches and Payton Verhulst was tabbed on the Preseason All-SEC Second Team
