No. 16 NC State Women’s Basketball Wraps Up Homestand with Rhode Island

RALEIGH – The No. 16 NC State women's basketball is set to finish its four-game homestand by hosting Rhode Island on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. The game at Reynolds Coliseum will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
ABOUT NC STATE
- NC State has started the season 3-2 behind one of the toughest schedules in the country with three of its first four games being against top 20 opponents
- The Pack is ranked No. 16 in both the AP and WBCA Coaches Polls
- NC State picked up a top 10 win over No. 8/9 Tennessee, 80-77, at the Ro Greensboro Invitational, and has gone 1-2 in its first three ranked matchups

- Rhode Island was projected to finish fourth in the Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll. The Rams finished 17-16 with an 11-7 conference mark last season
- Brooklyn Gray was chosen on the All-A-10 Preseason Second Team. She is coming off 12.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game last season. Ines Debroise was picked on the Preseason A-10 All-Defensive Team. She logged 7.7 per game with 28 steals last year
- Palmire Mbu leads Rhode Island with 14.7 points per game and logs 8.0 rebounds per game with 10 total blocks
- Albina Syla has a team's most 8.2 rebounds per game
