Men’s Soccer Continues Homestand with Stetson Friday Night

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State men's soccer continues its non-conference home stretch when it welcomes Stetson to Raleigh Friday night. The game, which will honor alumni of the program for the evening, is set for a 6 p.m. kick off with the Hatters at Dail Soccer Stadium.

A Win on Friday Would…
• Be the 555th win in program history (554-487-112)
• Be the 237th win in Hubbard's head coaching career (236-52-38)
• Be Hubbard's 5th victory at NC State (4-0-1)
• Be the first-ever win over the Hatters (0-1-0)
Series History
• Tuesday is the second-ever meeting between NC State and Stetson. The two met for the first time last season when the Wolfpack traveled to Florida but were faced with an 0-2 loss.

• Friday's match is alumni night and there will be a cowbell giveaway to fans.
• NC State was picked to finish 11th in a competitive Atlantic Coast Conference that features five of the nation's preseason top 10 teams.
• After four of the season and week two of conference play, the Pack lands at the top of the ACC standings.
• The ACC currently holds six teams ranked nationally in the top-25 (No. 3 Stanford, No. 5 Clemson, No. 7 Pittsburgh, No. 11 North Carolina, No. Virginia Tech, and No. 24 NC State).
• The Wolfpack is coming off of their first ACC game that resulted in a 2-1 win over California last friday as well a 7-0 shutout over Winthrop on Tuesday. The seven goal victory marked the first time the program has scored seven goals in a game since 1996.
