
Pack Men’s Soccer Travels to JMU for First Road Contest

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State men's soccer (2-0-0) travels to Virginia to take on James Madison (0-0-2) Saturday night for its first road contest of the season. The game is set for a 7 p.m. kick-off at Sentara Park in Harrisonburg.

Series History (Pack Trails 2-4-1)
• Saturday marks the 8th meeting between NC State and James Madison.
• The last match between the two was in September of the 2022 season which resulted in a 0-1 loss at home for the Pack. At the half the game was scoreless but the Dukes were able to net a goal in the 72nd minute to take the lead.
• Each team recorded 11 shots. NCSU tallied five saves while JMU tallied two.

• NC State was picked to finish 11th in a competitive Atlantic Coast Conference that features five of the nation's preseason top-10 teams.
• After week one of competition the Pack lands at the top of the ACC standings.
• The ACC currently holds six teams ranked nationally in the top-25 (No. 1 Clemson, No. 3 Pitt, No. 7 Syracuse, No. 13 Stanford, No. 15 Louisville, and No. 17 North Carolina).
