Four Earn All-ACC Honors on Final Day of ACC Outdoor Championships

ATLANTA, Ga. – The NC State track and field team wrapped up the final day of the 2024 ACC Outdoor Championships with four athletes earning All-ACC honors and six earning a new best in their respective events.
Sam Bush and Grace Hartman each earned Second-Team All-ACC honors in both the 1500m and 5000m races. Jirah Sidberry also earned Second-Team honors in the women's triple jump. Freshman Xavier Branker earned First-Team honors in the men's 400m hurdles after placing third.
The Wolfpack women finished ninth in the team rankings with 39.5 points while the men came in 13th with 13 points. The women of Duke and men of Virginia took home the overall team titles.
The Pack will head to Lexington, Ky. next for NCAA Regionals. Action is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 22.

- Jirah Sidberry finished fourth with a jump of 12.90m to record a new season best height and Second-Team honors
- Grace Hartman earned Second-Team All-ACC honors after finishing fourth with a person best time of 4:13.24
- Sam Bush also earned Second-Team honors after finishing sixth with a time of 4:16.72
- Sam Bush finished fourth with a season best time of 15:48.32 to earn Second-Team honors
- Grace Hartman came in fifth place with a time of 15:49.56 to also earn Second-Team honors
- Mariah Howlett finished 16th with a season best time of 16:19.08
- Freshman Xavier Branker earned a podium finish after placing third with a personal best time of 50.41 and added First-Team honors to his resume
- Brett Gardner was the highest finisher for the Pack as he placed 11th with a time of 13:52.69
- Dan McGoey finished 27th with a time of 14:23.31
- Senior David Vorbach finished with a time of 14:28.33 to place 30th
- Wesley Larson finished 35th with a final time of 14:48.09
- The squad (Kyron Parker, Myles Epstein, Lance Patterson, Xavier Branker) finished eighth with a season best time of 3:12.69
