CLEVELAND, Ohio – Appearing in its second NCAA Final Four in program history and its first since 1998, the 11th-ranked Wolfpack women's basketball team (31-6) will face off against top-ranked and undefeated South Carolina (36-0) in Friday night's national semifinal game.
Tip-off between NC State and South Carolina is scheduled for 7 p.m. from the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The game will be televised nationally on ABC, and live radio coverage will also be available on WKNC 88.1 FM in Raleigh and on the GoPack and Varsity Network apps.

- Friday marks the 33rd overall meeting between NC State and South Carolina. It is their first time facing off in the NCAA Tournament.
- The teams last saw each other for the 2021-22 regular-season opener to round out a home-and-home series they played over the course of two seasons. The Gamecocks won that contest, played on the Pack's home floor, by a 66-57 score.
- The Pack last beat South Carolina in a Dec. 3, 2020 win in Columbus. That victory marked the first of two wins over the nation's No. 1 teams that NC State collected in 2020-21.
- Wes Moore is 1-2 against South Carolina in his career, with a 1-1 mark with the Pack.
