No. 20 NC State Travel To The Sunshine State To Take On Miami and Florida State

RALEIGH, N.C.- No. 20 NC State will travel to the sunshine state this weekend to take on ACC opponents No. 52 Miami Friday Apr. 5 at 3:00 PM, and No. 15 Florida State Sunday, Apr. 7 at 1:00PM in the last two ACC matches of the regular season.Â
ÂThe Pack are coming off of a 7-0 sweep Sunday, Mar. 31 to Boston College at home in Raleigh. The Wolfpack have been a major competitor in conference play (6-2), sweeping five out of its eight opponents.
ÂPack in the rankings:Â
The Pack have remained in the top 25 since the start of conference play. Despite a couple of bumps in the road, doubles duo Martin Borisouk and Joe Wayand have remained in the ITA Doubles charts since week one. This week the pair represented the Pack at the No. 49 spot.Â
ÂJunior Fons Van Sambeek made an appearance in the singles rankings at the No. 66 spot after defeating No. 38 Filippo Moroni of Wake Forest 6-1, 6-2 Mar. 29. Senior Robin Catry continues to lead the Pack checking in at the No. 51 spot this week. Junior Braden Shick followed at the No. 82. Junior Luca Staeheli still stands tall at the No. 103 spot in the charts representing the Wolfpack.Â
ÂScouting the Hurricanes:Â
Miami currently leads a 10-9 series against the Wolfpack. The Pack last went head to head with the Hurricanes Mar. 10, 2023 at home in Raleigh where NC State led 4-2 in the final. The Hurricanes currently hold a 10-10 overall record, and a 2-7 record in conference play so far this season.Â
ÂThis week the Hurricanes picked up the No. 52 spot in ITA team rankings. No. 125 Martin Katz represents the Hurricanes in ITA singles rankings. No. 72 Adrien Burdet, and Vladislav Melnic join Miami in ITA Doubles rankings, along with No. 74 Antonio Prat, and Martin Katz.Â
ÂScouting the Seminoles:Â
The Seminoles currently lead a 18-6 series against the Pack. The Pack last faced the Seminoles Mar. 12 2023 in Raleigh, where the Pack led a 4-0 sweep.Â
ÂThe Seminoles head into the weekend set to take on No. 6 Wake Forest Friday, Apr. 3 at 5:30 PM. The Seminoles are currently on a two match win streak after defeating ACC opponents Georgia Tech, and Clemson bringing their overall record to 16-5, and 6-3 in conference play.Â
ÂThe Seminoles picked up the No. 15 spot in team rankings this week. No. 2 Antonie Cornut- Chauvinc makes an appearance in the seminoles singles rotation with a 16-1 overall record. Cornut- Chauvinc also makes waves in the doubles lineup sitting at the No. 33 spot alongside Joshua Dous Karpenschif.Â
