GREENSBORO, N.C. – NC State women's basketball opens 2024 Ally ACC Women's Basketball Tournament action on Friday evening as the No. 2 seed in this year's event. The Wolfpack will face off against No. 7 seed Duke at 5 p.m. on Friday.
National television coverage for the quarterfinal game will be provided by the ACC Network. Live radio coverage will also be available on WKNC 88.1 FM in Raleigh and on the GoPack and Varsity Network apps.

TOURNAMENT TIME
- The 2024 ACC Tournament is the 47th edition of the conference tournament event, and the Pack has appeared in it every year since its inception in 1977-78.
- NC State is the No. 2 seed after being picked to finish eighth in the ACC. That is tied as the biggest jump into the ACC top four by any team since the league's preseason poll first started being released in 1991-92. The Pack also previously jumped from preseason No. 10 to No. 4 seed in the ACC Tournament in 2013-14, Moore's first year as head coach.
- The Pack has finished in a tie for fourth or better in eight of 11 seasons of the Moore era.
- NC State is making its ninth straight appearance in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals.
- The team has a 26-16 record in games played in the quarterfinal round of the ACC Tournament.
- The Wolfpack has won its first ACC Tournament game six seasons in a row. That streak started with a second-round win over UNC at the 2018 tournament.
- NC State has appeared in the championship game a total of 17 times and the semifinals a total of 27 times.
- The Pack has won the ACC Tournament seven times in its 17 appearances in the title game. Three of those wins came in consecutive years from 2020 through 2022.
